I love to read because it takes me to other places ~ some familiar to my own space in the world and some not. I visit other people in other situations and lives ~ some similar to mine and some not. Sometimes, my visit is the very same as my own…
I love to write to take myself elsewhere to somewhere where I’ve been before or to connect the what I know with what I imagine and with what I wish. At times, I write to revisit a place I’ve been and loved. I write because words inside of me need to flow out…
Perhaps, you will enjoy what I write and perhaps not.
Living in an old farmhouse in the Canadian countryside is wonderfully quiet.
There, when not writing, I garden (spring to autumn), walk (sometimes) and feed the wild birds (everyday) … and the wild rabbits.
